This is the real meat and potatoes of it all. It literally bleeds into every aspect of your business (especially a creative one), so we'll be going deep deep deep into all the nooks and crannies of finding your voice. We fully realize that despite the importance of being genuine in a sea of copycats, this is no small ask, so won't you allow us to be your guides down the Oregon Trail (minus the dyssentary, of course - shout out to the other millenials, here), in this boundless topic.

It almost sounds cliche as I compose this as it's own headline. Storytelling. It may be a fairly over used term in the wedding photography industry, but this is literally at the crux of every choice we make. It's the meatball on top of Old Smokey before the sneeze. The blackbird singing in the dead of night. It's James AND his giant peach. Our point is - you'll find this topic sprinkled in among pretty much everything else because it's that big of a deal to us.

Clearly we're all visual here, so I don't have to wax on about how important light is - but to really understand it to the point that you can both utilize it to create more powerful work AND be unafraid to enter into a relationship with any kind of light? That's where the magic really is. Because we're not just going steady, here - this is the "can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars over the fence, world series kind of love." And when you understand it. TRULY understand it. You can create anything, anywhere, anytime.

You've been there. We've been there. You know where there is. We know you do. In that hole of a feeling when your creative subconscious decided to excuse itself to go powder its nose right at the height of the conversation. We'll talk resources and ideas and inspo on how to get back on track (or just get those juices flowing even when you aren't in the thick of the creative blahs).

Ok, we're like REALLY really excited about this part. The way we see it, as entrepreneur's, we tend to put our whole selves into our businesses. It's easy to get absorbed into it all as our identity. We want to bring attention to a more holistic (ahem, healthy) approach to working as a business owner, so we'll be throwing in some interviews with experts in human design, tools for calming your nervous system, convesations with other photography educators and bonus group discussions on topics like working with your spouse, or coping with anxiety. We'll throw in some extra photo technical things, too, because hey, it is what we do, but really - you doing this business running thing is a lifestyle and we wish someone had held our hand way back when and helped us tune into the habits we were creating before we were consumed by them.
